Twin pregnancy is considered as a high risk pregnancy because you need a little bit extra monitoring, probably a little more frequent visits compared to a singleton pregnancy. Besides that it is though so that the anterior placenta makes the sensation of the movements, the mother tries to feel or perceive the fetal movements and the movements are a little less. However, from the medical point of view, it doesn’t matter. To some extent if the placenta is a little anterior in positon, that is it is a little above, while in case you go in for a caesarean delivery, while giving the incision we should be careful as it can lead to an extra blood loss and the delivery has to be hastened a bit. But besides that it is okay to have an anterior placenta and a twin pregnancy.
