At 3,454 meters above sea level, the Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe. It is a round-trip journey from Bern or Interlaken to the Jungfraujoch.

And it takes about three hours and fifty minutes. The round-trip fare to the Jungfraujoch is just a little over $180 USD. This epic excursion begins with an ascent of more than one mile (or 2000 meters). The main funicular ride is through two long tunnels, which were built between 1906 and 1913. Visitors will then enter the longest glacier tunnel in Europe before reaching Europe's highest mountain station at 3454 meters (11,356 feet).
