It’s February of 1973.
A group of 200 American Natives from the Oglala tribe of South Dakota, drive out to the small town of Wounded Knee, in South Dakota. Their goal? To occupy the town as a form of protest towards the Oglala tribal chieftain, a man by the name of Richard Wilson.
Following the occupation however, armed federal troops would instantly surround the cite, and a long, bloody, and grueling hostage crisis would take shape.
