This Gameplay Test Is Being Run On The (Xbox Series X) Via Dev Mode!
New features of Mario Kart Wii Deluxe v8.0
800 tracks in total to play and 10 iconic battle arenas.
New updates and variants for official Nintendo tracks.
Added more Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Kart Tour, Mario Kart Arcade GP tracks.
Added tracks from iconic games like Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Kirby’s Air Ride, Zelda, etc.
Added more music from the Booster Course Pass.
Finally, all Wii U tracks are complete and some others got great updates.
Speed-modded tracks are finally introduced in Deluxe, working perfectly offline and online. You can find them in GP tracks, F-ZERO tracks and some other custom tracks (like Trainbow Road)
Added more sound effects from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
More changes in the stats of all vehicles to give more variety, now the actual stats are shown in the menu:
*Wario Bike’s weight has been nerfed a little bit but instead the Piranha Prowler is now the heaviest vehicle in the pack (it has now the previous weight of Wario Bike).
*Added more weight to small and medium characters.
*All characters have balanced extra stats (returning from Deluxe v6.0)
*All bikes speed has been increased a little bit.
*Classic Dragster/Nostalgia drift has been returned to the original from vanilla MKW.
All tracks have MK8 item boxes and fake item boxes as well. (This is possible thanks to Gabriela and Ahri, there were no modifications to the szs files of the tracks)
Now the credits to the authors of every single track are shown in the beginning of the race.
Grand Prix mode removed due to high instability. VS Races is only available.
Ghosts have been disabled forever from Time Trials. Now if you choose a track to TT, it will go directly to Solo Time Trials.
A whole new set of bikes and karts for each character.
Funky Kong and Donkey Kong have their proper animations from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when using vehicles from that edition (credits to ALE).
Gliders are introduced for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe vehicles only. It’s just cosmetic and they appear every single time a character goes through a cannon.
Riivolution version is Lite-only due to more stability (Only the new tracks and My Stuff customization). Also, the UI is Blue again as it used to be on Deluxe v5.5. 30 FPS Mode is available.
New speedometer
Huge optimization of Multiplayer mode. Almost all tracks are stable without the weird bugs that used to happen in v6.0 and v7.0. (You will notice this more in the wbfs version). For console users don’t forget to use the code that forces the game to 30 FPS (wbfs) or just activating 30 FPS Mode (Riivolution).
New VR System made by Zak and MrBean35000vr for online races (Already explained by him in the previous post).
