The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, will be held from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, took the decision at its virtual executive meeting on Friday.
The competition was originally fixed for summer in 2025 but CAF had to look for a new date with the expanded FIFA Club World Cup scheduled for the same period.
