An ancient remedy going back as far as Ancient Greece and Ayurvedic practises has been used for weight loss, to clean the digestive system and to promote health for centuries. In today's video we will show you how to make a basil seed drink which works brilliantly in helping you to stay full during a diet or weight loss regime.These seeds are also known as sabja seeds (soaked) and can be mixed with a warm drink of your choice to enjoy their benefits.
Be sure to let the seeds soak in the warm mixture for at least 15 minutes, this gives them plenty of time to expand and release their vital nutrients into the liquid. This makes it easier for your body to absorb them, and enjoy their filling effects.
In some cultures, the basil seeds are soaked in warm coconut water to produce a cooling drink for use in the summer. This boosts electrolytes and helps to keep you hydrated.
