What is botany? In this video we'll learn a bit about botany, the scientific study of plants. We'll also talk about why plants are so important to our planet and humans and the jobs you can get related to plants. Additionally, we'll briefly cover the 4 major types of plants: bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms, and angiosperms. Finally, we'll talk about 2 famous botanists, Carl Linnaeus and George Washington Carver.
