A traditional Bengali recipe for Bhapa/Vapa pitha made with no butter or oil! It's perfect for making breakfast, brunch, snack time, or any time of day. The dough will be soft and pliable because there is no added fat in this version. This recipe makes 8-10 bhapas, depending on the size you want them. It is made without oil and butter, but this does not mean that it doesn't taste great!
Here's the ingredients:
Rice flour - 2 cups / 480 g
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Milk - 1 cup / 240 ml
Coconut 1 cup
Dates jaggery - 1 cup
