I went out today in my Piper Super Cub and flew over the NH Lakes Region to check the ice conditions on a number of the lakes in the lakes region including: Lake Winnipesaukee, Lake Waukewan, Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam Lake, Lake Kanasatka, and Paugus Bay. Lake Kanasatka looked completely iced over, and much of the lower half of Squam Lake looked iced over. So did the portion of Lake Winnipesaukee on the back/north side of Moultonboro Neck. Lake Waukewan looked like it had a lot of ice. The broads area of Lake Winnipesaukee looked still wide open.
