I finally sat down and fixed my LP Gator case. After 14 years, the latches have given out and they don't stay in place, so the case could potentially come open and the guitar could fall.
Instead of buying new latches, and specialized tools to replaced them, I decided to figure out how they work and fix them.
This is a fairly quick and easy fix that any one can do.
The main thing here is adjusting the angle of the spring/plate by bending the metal piece in order to close the angle.
Tools needed:
Needle Nose Pliers
Flat Head Screw driver
