Sajid Javid has confirmed that preparations are being made to offer Covid booster jabs from next month.
The Health Secretary said that the Government is waiting for the final advice from the JCVI but expects to begin the booster programme from early September, with the over-50s set to be offered the flu jab at the same time as their booster.
