We've arrived in the Philippines and will be showing you the LubD Makati hotel in Manila.
We were picked up by a good friend of ours and had some delicious local food. After, we checked in to our accommodation, The Lub D. A sort of hip version of a hostel where they have dorm style rooms and also regular hotel rooms. The hotel is aimed at more of a backpack crowd and at remote workers. Inside the hotel there are a lot of facilities to work, play, drink and eat. There's even a rooftop bar, restaurant and this is also the place where you can get breakfast in the morning.
The room itself is a little on the smaller side, with a double bed mattress on the floor and right next to the window. It was very clean and if you wanted they would come in and clean every day.
Overall we can say we enjoyed our stay, it was very cheap and it was in the Makati district. This district is a relatively safe district with many malls, bars and food around.
If you have a lower budget and still want a good accommodation this is a very nice choice!
