One pot greek chicken and rice recipe
This video is about one pot greek chicken and rice recipe. The slow cooking will help to extract all flavors and the end result is delicious chicken and rice. Once you have the marinated chicken for at least 2 hours or overnight preferably, then you can cook the chicken for a few minutes to get nicely browned and finally all the rest of ingredients and bake. It’s very easy to make and you will ill be by stove for just 20 minutes & get a lot of hands free time while it is being baked. Enjoy this delicious meal with pita bread, humus and a good salad. Lemon Juice- 2 Tablespoons
Lemon Zest- 1 Lemon
Dried Oregano-1 Tablespoon
Garlic Powder-1 Teaspoon
Dried Rosemary- 1 Teaspoon
Cumin- 1 Teaspoon
Salt-1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper-1/2 Teaspoon
Olive Oil- As required
Rice- 1.5 Cups (washed nicely, soaked for 20 minutes and drained) I used basmati rice.
Chopped Onion- 1/2 Cup
Dried Oregano- 1 Tablespoon
Salt-3/4 Teaspoon or to taste
Garlic 2-3 Cloves finely chopped
Dried Rosemary- 1 Teaspoon
Water-1.75 Cups
Chicken Broth-1.5 Cups
Red pepper Flakes- 1/4 Teaspoon
