Honda XL750 Transalp | First look review from KNOX at EICMA 2022
Welcome to our 3rd instalment from EICMA 2022. While we are busy exhibiting at the show, we take the chance to jump off the stand and check out some of the hottest new models for 2023! In this video we give a quick first look review of the new Honda Transalp.
As well as resurrecting the Hornet, they're bringing back the Honda Transalp, this time with an all-new 750 parallel twin engine, new chassis, tech and pretty much everything else that goes with a new bike!
The middleweight adventure sector is now incredibly competitive, with stiff competition from KTM, Husqvarna, Aprilia, Yamaha and the new Suzuki V-Strom 800.
Although the XL750 Transalp should be very competitively priced, have Honda done enough to tempt buyers away from the other high performing bikes out there? First impressions are that it will be popular, although its clearly not the full package it needs to be to come up on top; a welded subframe and questionable paint finishing may cause concern to potential buyers.
However, the real-world delivery will be the all important factor and we hope to get the chance to ride one in 2023.
