Non-invasive time-lapse imaging of 2-week-old zebrafish larvae with NASH. This is a unique and powerful model that allows for the study of neutrophil response to injury in a whole-animal context, which is particularly important in the setting of metainflammation (NASH, type 2 diabetes and , obesity) which is characterized by intricated networks between cells, tissues, and organs. Our lab is pioneering the use of such models and tools.
