I have been wanting to post some juices and shakes with the summer taking its toll across half the continents. Last week posted 3 summer special drinks, when I think of juices I always have a weakness towards shakes. Whether fruits or milkshakes I am always in. I can go without food when I have one of those thick creamy milkshakes and I am just totally in love with them.
Today I am sharing the recipe of a Vanilla Milkshake, Strawberry Milkshake and Chocolate milkshake which is so tasty and creamy that you will become an instant fan. I had never tried these fancy milkshakes as I am not for using ice creams a lot in juices or shakes. I always prefer to use home ingredients as much as possible and hence when I came across this recipe I just wanted to try it. Kids always love so here is a recipe that will give a variation to the usual, we keep trying for them
You can make this with a normal mixer / blender or even a hand mixer is more than enough. Just grab a few ingredients, toss in a blender and you have the perfect tasty milkshakes recipes.
All you need is simple ingredients and you have the perfect milkshake in just 2 minutes. This is so creamy and smooth that you can alter the quantity of milk to have it slightly thick and will make for a quick smoothie as well. You can make this on the go anytime .Try it and enjoy!!

1st Recipe : Vanilla Milkshake

Prep Time : 5 mins
Serves : 2 People
Course : Desserts - Vanilla Milkshake

Ingredients:
To blend in mixer:
Chilled Milk : 1 Cup (250ml)
Vanilla Ice Cream : 3 to 4 Scoop
Vanilla Essence : 1 tsp
To Garnish:
Cherry / Sprinkles / Nuts / Scraped Chocolate (As per choice)

Instructions:
• Take a mixie / blender and add all the ingredients one by one.
• Blend for a minute or until frothy.
• Pour it into a glass and ready to serve with toppings of your choice.
• Enjoy the quick and tasty milkshake ready to drink.
Tips:
• Boil the milk and chill for 2 hours or use direct chilled milk as per choice.
• Cherry, sprinkles and more vanilla ice cream can added as per your choice.
• For garnish, if using nuts ensure tiny pieces for drinking purpose.
1. No need ice cube since adding ice cream for frothy. Ice cube is completely optional.

2nd Recipe : Strawberry Milkshake

Prep Time : 10 mins
Serves : 2 People
Course : Desserts - Strawberry Milkshake

Ingredients:
To blend in mixer:
Strawberry : 6 to 8 (Chopped)
Sugar : 2 tsp or as per your taste
Chilled Milk : 1 Cup (250ml)
Strawberry Ice Cream : 3 to 4 Scoop
Ice Cubes : 2 to 3 (Optional)

To Garnish:
Strawberry / Nuts / Scraped Chocolate (As per choice)

Instructions:
• Take a mixie / blender and add strawberry, sugar and half cup chilled milk.
• Blend for 30 seconds
• Add remaining mixture of half cup chilled milk, strawberry ice cream and ice cubes
• Blend for a minute or until frothy.
• In a serving glass add strawberry syrup and pour milkshake with toppings of your choice.
• Ready to drink, colorful and yummy strawberry milkshake.
Tips:
• Boil the milk and chill for 2 hours or use direct chilled milk as per choice.
• Add chopped strawberries and ice cream for extra taste and toppings.
• Can substitute vanilla ice cream instead of strawberry ice cream.
• For garnish, if using nuts ensure tiny pieces for drinking purpose.

3rd Recipe : Chocolate Milkshake

Prep Time : 5 mins
Serves : 2 People
Course : Desserts - Chocolate Milkshake

Ingredients:
To blend in mixer:
Chocolate Chips : 2 tbsp
Chilled Milk : 1 Cup (250ml)
Chocolate Ice Cream : 3 to 4 Scoop
Chocolate Syrup : 2tsp (Optional)

To Garnish:
Chocolate Chips / Sprinkles / Nuts / Scraped Chocolate (As per choice)

Instructions:
1. Take a mixie / blender and add all the ingredients one by one.
2. Blend for a minute until frothy.
3. In a serving glass add chocolate syrup and pour milkshake recipe with toppings of your choice.
4. Ready to drink lip smacking chocolatey and kids favorite chocolate milkshake.
Tips:
• Boil the milk and chill for 2 hours or use direct chilled milk as per choice.
• Chocolates can be added for topping by grating or cutting to fine pieces.
• For garnish, if using chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts ensure tiny pieces for drinking purpose.
