Many people think they should strive to be good and avoid sin but what if sinning was the way to salvation? That’s essentially what an early sect of heretical Christians called the Cainites believed. But could it true? The Cainites purportedly held in high regard and venerated those who are normally considered the villains of the bible like Judas the Betrayer and Cain the first murderer. In fact, they’re called Cainites because of their veneration for Cain. It all sounds backwards but the Cainites would say it’s the rest of the world that has it backwards.
