In this video, we wanted to look at a hypothetical future where the Kalmar Union, a historic union between Norway, Sweden, and Denmark (along with Iceland, Finland, and Greenland), reunited?

We go through a brief explanation to answer "what was the Kalmar union" and then look at events that could bring it back. We discuss what the new version of the Kalmar Union would be called, who would govern it, and where it would rank in the nations of the world. We also discuss the economy of the Nordic Nations before and after reuniting. We get into the pros and cons of having the Nordic countries united again and discuss if it would even work.
