Ingredients
⎫ 1 ½ kg pomfret fish
⎫
20 long chili
24 garlic cloves
Tamarind (small lime size)
2 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon turmeric
2 inch ginger
Curry leaves
Hot water
Salt
Directions
1) Clean the fish, make cross slits on both sides
2) Soak long chili with hot water for 1 hour
3) Grind soak chili, garlic, tamarind, cumin and ginger to smooth paste with little water
4) For masala add salt and turmeric mix well
5) Smear oil all over the tawa on medium flame then add curry leaves
6) Add masala paste and sauté at least for 4 to 5 min
7) Then add fish make sure they are cooked evenly from both the sides
8) Serve the fish with little masala
