So the VegNews Test Kitchen decided to place an order, and then created this cheesy, yummy bread using Renegade’s Soppressata salami. And—WOW. ✨It’s soooooo good, and is the perfect pairing with hot soup or a fresh salad. You gotta try it! 💕
✨Vegan Cheesy Soppressata & Rosemary Bread✨
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 pound readymade vegan pizza dough
4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
½ package Renegade Foods’ Smoky Soppressata, sliced
¼ cup shredded vegan cheese
2 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
WHAT YOU DO:
1. Coat an 8 x 8-inch pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Place pizza dough in pan, coat with oil, and cover with a clean dish towel. Let rest in warm place for 40 minutes.
2. Remove towel, and gently stretch dough to edges of pan. Cover with towel, and let rest again for 40 more minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove towel, and use your fingertips to gently create small dimples across surface. Add sliced Soppressata and cheese. Drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil, and top with rosemary. Bake for 30 minutes.
4. Remove from oven and top with flaky sea salt.
