When comparing these two headphones, it is clear as day that the HD800S is Sennheiser's way of leeching off of DT880's success. All Sennheiser did was attempt to clone the frequency response, add a high mid scoop for soundstage, and make them look like a sports car. Do not tell me that the HD800S is more detailed because the DT880 600 Ω has lower distortion and a superior square wave response.
