Newly appointed Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi kicked off a controversy on Tuesday when he was seen taking a private jet to New Delhi on Tuesday. The 16-seater aircraft flew four people to Delhi for a meeting with senior Congress leaders for a discussion on the new Punjab cabinet.
Apart from Chief Minister Channi, other occupants of the flight included Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Congress Punjab chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and a relative of the cricketer-turned-politician.
