In this video I'm showing how you can use a hall effect sensor to detect presence of a magnetic field. Additionally, the hall effect sensor is interface on the Arduino through the use of interrupts so the Arduino can react immediately on the change.
I also explore the different modes at which an interrupt can function so be sure to watch it all.
