In this video, we drove through Boulder County, where Marshall Fire happened, to see if we could be of any assistance and find any pets that were left behind when the evacuation orders were announced. As soon as we heard, we knew we had to get the trucks started and head that direction. We got as close as we could, but the quickly spreading fire was faster than we thought.
Once evacuation orders were announced, no one could return to their homes and were directed to evacuation centers, leaving their beloved pets at home. Luckily, we were able to get to a few homes before they were completely burned to the ground. Our hearts go out to the families that have been affected by this tragedy. They are now left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. If you would like to help, we are collecting donations to donate to the Colorado Fire Response. Although we were able to save some animals... there are still at least 60 animals that are unaccounted for. We hope that they will soon be safely reunited with their owners.
