From the disparate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in communities across the nation to vigilant protests against systemic racism, today's climate demonstrates that we are far from achieving equity. This meaningful discussion examines the legacy of women’s suffrage and today’s feminist movement through the lens of Black women, unpacking the history of feminism while highlighting the importance of intersectionality moving forward. Black feminism provides a prospective through which we can better understand one another and move towards a greater opportunity for justice.
