In this review and comparison, I compare the old Stanley fat max to the new crescent lufkin shockforce tape measure.

I had high hopes for the lufkin as many people were promoting them and they looked great.
The hype ended within 2 months. The tape started to scratch a lot more than my old fatmax and then started to bend and crack. This was the result for many more others I’ve talked to on my Instagram. I’ve had over 30 people contact me with the same and worse results.

I’m hoping crescent can recreate this tape better and stronger. Especially when they cost more than the Stanley tapes here in Australia.
