What is a Perpetual Motion Machine 1st kind (PMM1) ?
• A Perpetual Motion Machine of the First kind (PMM1) is a hypothetical machine producing a continuous supply of work without the input of any energy from the surroundings.

• It thus violates the first law of thermodynamics: the law of conservation of energy.

Why is PMM1 impossible ?
• The first law of thermodynamics states that the energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. It can only be transformed from one form to another.

• Perpetual Motion Machine of the First kind(PMM1) which violates the 1st law of thermodynamics.

• A machine, which can supply mechanical work continuously without consumption of any energy, violates the first law of thermodynamics.

• So, PMM1 is impossible.
