Outside temperature 13 degrees! Herters Russian 150gr steel-cased .308 ammunition. One month old Rock River LAR-8 Mid-Length A4 16" barrel carbine. Lucid HD7 optic, not sighted in. Rock River polymer magazine. Only 9 rounds fired previously through weapon - first outing.
Note:
1. The fourth jug was hit by two rounds.
2. Others shooting beside us (heard right before my first shot).
3. Spotlight no longer functions.
4. Yes, we cleaned up and my personal philosophy is to leave a place better than I found it.
5. Factory Rock River magazines now require that end user "modify" them before they'll function. I had to "modify" the magazine used in this video, but as you can see it now works fine.
