Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today I’ll be showing you how I make my sorrel drink. Sorrel is usually made during the Christmas season in the Caribbean and ingredients may vary from island to island. One thing remains constant and that is the great taste. Sorrel is also known as Roselle or Hibiscus and can be bought fresh or dried.

INGREDIENTS:
8 oz pack of dried sorrel
12 cups of water
3-4 bay leaves
1/4 cup ginger
2-3 cups of sugar (sweeten to your preference)
3 small cinnamon sticks
Orange peel (optional)
Cook for 30 minutes and allow to sit for minimum of 4 hrs or overnight.
