The Philippines: Proverbs from the Pearl of the Orient Seas | For Humility and Resilience (Part 1) video features some of the best quotes coming from Filipino wisdom. Since December 31 is Jose Rizal Day, who is the National Hero I made this video specially for this occasion although I initially intended this one for National Heroes' Day last August 28, it suffered permission setbacks, so I decided to do a composite design for it instead, but I also obtained permission for the part 2 of this series.

The National Heroes featured in the pictures are Jose Rizal, Diego Silang, Apolinario Mabini, Bonifacio Aranas, Marcela Agoncillo, Reyna Sima, Andres Bonifcaio, Sergio Osmena, Leon Kilat and Sultan Kudarat. That includes Lapu Lapu in the cover page.
