"The only trip you will regret is the one you don't take"
Travel music video showing the highlights of our trip to the Happy Island of "Aruba". Aruba is located 18 miles away from Venezuela and in clear days you could see the cost of Venezuela from the south eastern side of the island. Our trip started from Miami and was roughly a 3 hours flight. The island is 21 miles long and 6 miles wide with an area of about 75 square miles, so there is the possibility to fully explore it. We were able to travel from the California lighthouse to Baby Beach in less than an hour, this is from one side of the island to the other. The island is a constituent country of the Kingdom of Netherlands. Local official language are Papiamento and Dutch, but most speak English and Spanish as well. Oranjestad is the capital of Aruba and here is where cruise ships dock. We visited the national park in a jeep to get to this amazing natural pool, lots of off-roading here so be careful, they also have some tours in ATV or 4 wheel drive that will take you there. The park is similar to a dessert with lots of cactus, and the temperature is very hot, so make sure to get that sunblock, personal experience. We also got tickets to the Renaissance Hotel Private Island where you can feed and take pictures with the flamingos, tickets are very limited, they were giving only 30 and price was $125 each, worth it (you won't be able to flight a drone here (NFZ) since the island is very close to the airport) There are lots of beaches in Aruba including Baby beach, Boca Catalina, Mangel Halto and Malmok Beach, the last 3 mentioned are well known for snorkeling. I would recommend to stay as close as possible to the capital (less driving and more things to do) Local recommended not to visit San Nicolas (located near Baby beach) at night. Overall we had a blast in the island and will recommend it to a friend or family.
