This student-created video from my Chem 10 class shows how to find the initial temperature of a system when 420.5 mL of water is heated to a final temperature of 49.2°C using 18.7 kJ of energy.
This problem will show several conversion steps (kJ to J, mL to g) as well as use the heat equation heat = mass * specific heat * ∆T.
