You may have wondered whether you should use a color camera or a mono camera for your astrophotography. In this video I'll attempt to provide you with an answer. The main advantage of using a mono camera for your astrophotography is that a mono camera is able to collect more light when capturing red, green and blue light from deep space objects as compared a colour camera. In this video, I'll discuss the main advantages and disadvantages of using a mono versus a colour camera for astrophotography.
