Testing out some new strings I just put on my guitar. I'll be testing several different brands on the guitar in the future, trying to find the best fit.

Guitar - Yamaha CPX 900
Microphone - SE1a
Strings - D'addario Phosphor Bronze EJ26 .011-.052

Comments about the strings:

I've only had these strings on for an hour, so they should warm up a bit with more playing time.

I like these strings but I think the gauge might be a little high on this guitar so I've ordered a lighter gauge to try out. I've used higher gauge EJ16's on my Martin D15M and they sound great on that but I think the Yamaha works better with a lower gauge.

The strings sound really good for fingerpicking and have great seperation but lack a little sustain, I think partly due to the tension of the strings.
