Moroccan Tea as the name suggests is the traditional tea of Morocco. This tea is basically made of green tea prepared with mint leaves and sugar. Traditionally in Arab world this tea is served after the meals.
Some alternative names for Moroccan Mint tea are Atay, Atay b'naanaa, Shay-b'naanaa.
Moroccan Mint tea is a strong and sweet infusion of green tea leaves, fresh mint and sugar.
Ingredients-
3 cups Water
3 tbsp Sugar
2 green tea bags
A bunch of fresh Mint leaves
Method-
1)In a pot add water, sugar, tea bags & few mint leaves. Bring it to a boil, then simmer for 5-10 mins.
2)When done, transfer it to tea pot.
3)Now assemble a Moroccan tea tray -With tea pot, Tea mugs, sugar pot & mint leaves.
4)Pour tea in tea mugs add torn mint leaves & adjust sugar according to your liking.
5)Voila! the delightful yet refreshing Moroccan tea is ready.
