EDF Energy plans to build two new UK EPR nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point C – the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations to be built in the UK.

The UK EPR design draws on the experience of several thousand reactor-years of light water reactor operations worldwide. The design includes innovations to enhance safety, cost-efficiency and sustainability.
