This is my personal review on the legendary Leica M6! I like how it feels in my hand and the weight (1lb 4oz), so I used it as a standard to compare against other Leica models, analog and digital.
I must say, any model, if it got used enough times, the photographer may get more use to it on the handling. The best camera is the camera in the photographer's hand!

The Leica M6 reissue intrigues me. In my onion, Leica has finally perfected their product line with the reissue. A lot of older M6 bodies have zinc rust issues on the top and bottom plates. This is because the older M6 were made with zinc top and bottom plates (to save on manufacturing cost?) whereas other Leica models had the brass top and bottom plates. Now with the newly reissued M6, Leica may finally have all its cameras with brass plates. I'm not sure about the M7 because I have never owned one. If you know what the M7 top plates are made of, please drop me a comment!

The Leica M11 is suppose to be lighter than the M10. I don't have one. The spec says the black version is ~1lb 3oz. This is good! I will have to check one out!
