STORYLINE:
Ukrainian recruits are receiving infantry training at a military base in southeast England, as part of UK's broader package of support for Ukraine.
The British Army has pledged to train a total of 10,000 recruits within 120 days on British soil, which provides a safe environment for them to learn military skills.
Ukrainian recruits will learn marksmanship and battlefield first aid, as well as urban warfare skills.
They practice house-clearing on a mock-townscape where British soldiers once trained for operations in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan.
More than 1,000 UK personnel are involved in the training, at four bases around the UK, and countries including Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the Nordic nations are also sending military trainers.
