THE JOURNEY
Jotunheimen is home to hundreds of high peaks, including the highest mountain in Scandinavia: Galdhøpiggen.
The trek was one of the hardest I have done. It had rained historic amounts shortly before my trip, and many trails were now swamps. There are also several sections in Jotunheimen where there is no trail, and where you have to cross relatively large rivers barefoot.
I started at Gjendesheim and Besseggen and continued my way towards Glitterheim, and eventually Spiterstulen and Leirvassbu. On the last day, I crossed the Fannaråki glacier and ended the trip at Mefjell.
