Forearm Smash! Do you have elbow or wrist pain? Tennis elbow? Golfers Elbow? Arthritis? Then smash ALLLL the RED stuff (muscle) around the forearm. Don’t get too specific with muscles. This is a simple concept. You can use a barbell, lacrosse ball, TheraGun, or even your own thumb to massage and loosen the tissue. Spend about 1-2 minutes on each side of the arm and only push into it to the point where you can still relax the arm. If you are pushing into the muscle so hard that you tense up, the muscles may not relax.
Elbow, wrist, and hand pain is often a result of poor function and poor overall posture. If you have pain in these regions, it is most likely because the pelvis, core, shoulders, and head are not in alignment!!! When those are in alignment, the arm, elbow, and wrist are rotated outward into an optimal position for movement. Just about everyone we have ever seen with any kind of limb pain is a result of not having the pelvis, spine, and shoulders in alignment. Simple.
