5 Tips for Progression
1. Try something new every session
You don’t need to try a new trick every time you hit the water, but you can also add small things like a new grab to your riding. You can also try working on your style or technique on tricks you already know!
2. Film yourself
Filming myself or getting filmed by someone definitely helps your progression a ton!
Sometimes how a trick feels and how it really looks can be completely different.
3. Ride with friends
Riding with others can definitely help to improve your riding because you can push each other, try tricks together and motivate each other!
4.Don’t overthink
It’s helpful to imagine the movements of a trick before you try it on the water, but don’t overthink it! Most importantly: don’t let fear hold you back!
5. Have fun
To get better in something you need to leave your comfort zone, but don’t forget to have fun! Don’t push yourself too hard! If you’re enjoying what you do, progression will happen automatically!
