Kevin Garnett, during his high school years, played against both Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Garnett attended Mauldin High School in South Carolina, and during his senior year in 1995, his team faced the team led by Jordan and Pippen in a charity exhibition game. This game took place during the lockout period in the NBA, and Jordan and Pippen participated to raise funds for charity.
Garnett's performance in that game caught the attention of many scouts and further solidified his reputation as a top basketball prospect. He eventually decided to forego college and entered the 1995 NBA Draft, becoming the first player in 20 years to be drafted directly from high school.
