Similarly, the neurons in the brain resemble the cosmic web more than individual brain cells. However, these similarities only appear when comparing specific scales of each system.

This is crucial when comparing something infinite like the universe (as far as we know) to the finite brain. Since everything in the universe follows the same physical rules, it's not surprising that similarities emerge if you look closely enough.
