You can find an explanation of the story further below in this description.
Hey guys, this is the crossover AMV I've been talking about in the description of my last video (from 11 months ago haha)
I dropped it because I lost motivation again. After that I didn't want to upload it because I wanted to finish it first, or at least improve the scenes I'm not satisfied with, but I doubt this fixing is ever gonna happen, so here we are :p
Tell me how you like it please!
This is probably gonna be my last AMV, so I guess this is farewell :)
I'll still comment on videos every once in a while though.
THE STORY
If you think it might be the same character, it probably is. Kiritsugu, all brown haired Danganronpa boys, Kaneki, and the guy from Koe no Katachi are all the same person.
Waking up from a bad dream, Kiritsugu is about to enter his new school, Hope's Peak Academy, for the first time. (beginning to 0:16) *timeskip*
He quickly finds a girlfriend that he meets up with after school, not knowing that this is going to be their last time meeting each other.
Without Kiritsugu knowing, she is being abducted by the guy with white hair. (until 0:25)
Remembering his dream, the rain gives him a feeling of unease, which is why he begins looking for her (the scenes until 0:34 are supposed to give these bad vibes Kiritsugu is having right now)
At the same time, his girlfriend is now in a maze full of traps that she needs to escape from if she wants to survive. This struggle can be seen via a screen, which is why Kiritsugu can see her last moments. Sick from the shock, he quickly runs home and spends the night vomiting. After finally falling asleep, he wakes up again because the picture of his dead girlfriend is haunting his dreams.
Unable to cope with it, he tries to forget this memory by first cutting himself, then by taking drugs - but nothing helps; he still can't live a normal life with this trauma. He tries going out, but instantly turns back home, where he spends multiple days. After these days of isolation, he even tries to kill himself by jumping off a bridge, but manages to survive. He wakes up in a hospital, where he stays until his dismissal. Feeling dead inside, he grows into an adult, until he finally starts remembering positive things he experienced with his girlfriend. Reaching out his hand for the light he is seeing, he finally gets back up. (until 1:19) *timeskip*
Kiritsugu finds another love and is even going to have a child with her. (another timeskip)
A murderer is currently in their vicinity, and he attacks the unsuspecting family while Kiritsugu is not there - the mother sacrifices herself in order for the child to escape. (end of the AMV)
Here is how I would've continued:
After hearing what happened and seeing his injured child, Kiritsugu swears to get revenge. He gets his hands on weapons and is now out for blood: following the trail of his wife's murderer, he meets one person after another; they all are threatened to tell him what they know, and once they tell Kiritsugu, he shoots them. Eventually he finds the guy, fights him, and then kills him. After that, he meets his wife in a dream, where he realizes what he has done. Trying to atone for his sins, he is now looking for someone he can save in the inferno that just broke out - and he finds Shirou, whom he adopts.
