New Delhi, Apr 27 (ANI): As the BJP fielded actor Sunny Deol from the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat which earlier belonged to late actor and party leader Vinod Khanna, the latter’s wife Kavita Khanna has expressed disappointment over the ticket snub but said she will not contest as an independent candidate from the seat. Kavita added that she is making a “personal sacrifice” for the larger good of the party and nation which is to assure the return of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Lok Sabha elections. Asked whether she would campaign for Deol, Kavita said she has been asked by the actor for it but won’t refuse if contacted.
