Stone Talus is the first boss fight that you can find in Breath Of The Wild but is completely optional. To find him, head into the Forrest directly infront of the 'Great Plateau Tower' and you will find a bunch of white rocks sitting around inside an empty looking space. Talus will form and start attacking you so snipe the crystal on his back with arrows then climb onto him and destroy the crystal to kill him.
