I was super lucky to be invited by the DO Ribeiro wine region to spend a couple of days touring around the area visiting lots of wineries in the heart of Galicia in the northwest of the country.

It also happens to be one of the most beautiful parts of Spain.

It was a busy few days.
An initial relaxed arrival day to the Balneario de Laias in the depths of the Miño river valley gave way to two insanely long days. Monday was 5 wineries and Tuesdays was 3 more plus 4 hours of presentations.

On my last day I decided to do a little food crawl around one of my happy places: Santiago de Compostela.

I hope you enjoy this little Galician adventure, launched as it was by a gleefully alcoholic work trip.
