Had a wonderful time capturing memories during a recent visit from my brother-in-law and his family from England. We don't get them see that often and they almost never get the chance to travel to the states as a family so it was really good seeing them. My nieces are growing up so fast! Experiencing Disney World with them was truly magical, and it makes me excited to one day have the same experience with my own daughter

From a technical standpoint, this was my first go at recording 12-bit 1080p video with the Sigma fp using an SD card - no external SSD.

The card and reader I used 👇🏾

When recording at 24 fps you get about 47 minutes of 12-bit 1080p footage on a card that size. You get a little less than 20 minutes if you're shooting in 60fps, which I did a few times. It was nice not having any cables or external drives bulking up the fp, and I'm honestly blown away by the quality of the 1080p footage. I always thought it was resolution that mattered more than anything else, but I'm starting to think differently...

Lastly, DaVinci Resolves "super scale" feature is pretty great. I used it in the past on 10-bit 4k stuff from the fp, but the results are far superior if applied to footage with a greater bit depth. Enjoy!
