Tennis champion Serena Willams ... tops this list ... .with total earnings of 29.2 million US dollars
Sindhu on the other hand has earnings of 5.5 million dollars, and is 13 on the list ... Forbes has called her India's most marketable female athlete.
The earnings tally looks at prize money, salaries, bonuses, endorsements and appearance fees between June 2018 and 2019.
But while Sindhu's earnings are impressive.. they still lag a long way from her male compatriots ...
