Does your Crybaby or Vox wah pedal sound harsh when using trebly amps, guitars, and/or pedals? Before you go buy new gear or give up on using these types of pedals altogether, I invite you to try this quick trick to fine tune your wah's tonal flavor. I recently dialed in my rig and tried this approach, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Another insight I realized while working with the extremes of the sweep is that in the end it was a very small shift in the tone pot that made the biggest improvement in overall tone. So have fun playing around, but realize that you most likely don't need to change the pot position very much to get the results you are looking for. Try it out and let me know!
